in santa rosa, 92 in oakland, 90 in redwood city that is downright hot. what's good, there's no wind really. no offshore wind. no strong winds because this would be a red flag warning day. these numbers are huge and this is the time of year we're worried about. just like yesterday. almost a repeat of yesterday and that we're not seeing those strong winds. the fog tomorrow morning then tries to push in. you know i think it'll be there i'm not so sure it's going to be there. the model has it right along the coast. i think most likely by lunchtime or 2:00 you will feel the winds kick in. if you're in the avenues, you get the dry air and warm air. all of a sudden you smell the sea breeze. you can even see a rock out there by the cliff house when the winds shift. that's what's going to happen tomorrow morning when the wind shifts. so that will bring cooler weather. temperatures tomorrow at san francisco, they can drop 20 degrees from where they were today. i have specifics on your forecast. the five day forecast with your weekend in view. back here at 5:45. >> thank you, bill. >>> fall out into

degrees in napa, santa rosa and and the south they also 90's at this hour. as we look for tomorrow big changes. some fog will return to the forecast just sitting off shore. and through overnight it will be tomorrow with some sunny skies but it will be much cooler. with 20 degrees cooler or more in some locations. and continue cooling. with mainly into the '60s and '70s. tomorrow, the temperatures in the south bay will be in the 80s. 85 degrees in los gatos, a san jose, milpitas and for the inland valleys. still, some pretty warm conditions but nothing like today. 90's in antioch. concord, and '80s in pleasanton. back into the 70's for the east bayshore. and temperatures along the '60s and '70s with 68 in ocean beach. 70 degrees in san francisco. with a mixture of 60s, 70's in the north bay. we have a lot of events going on and the big one of course is fleet week. with an air show, friday, saturday, sunday will have the fog in the morning. and possibly even if lingering for the golden gate for the afternoon. however, it should be sunny for the embarcadero. as we take a look at our exten

rosa, 102 degrees. from 2001, the record was broken and the same in concord. 98 in napa from 2007. check out san jose. 96 degrees. from 1980! and moffett field was 95 degrees. that old record was also from 1980. we are not going to break any records today. currently, a warmer start but not much as far as warming as we go for this afternoon. 76 degrees in antioch. 73 in daly city. and upper 60s and san jose. as we check out futurecast by lunch. mostly orange and yellow on your screen indicating '70s and '80s. comfortable. as you go for lunch. as a cool for this afternoon. the red on the screen. however, those nine these are reserved for places like livermore toward gilroy. those 90's are reserved for places like livermore and killed brickyard 85 degrees expected in gilroy. with triple digits. 75 degrees in san francisco. with low 70's in daly city. and berkeley will see 76. again as i mentioned that sea breeze will continue with a cooling trend tomorrow. we will dive into those numbers we will only be in the low 80s the potential for wet weather. details on that, coming up. let me

record in santa rosa, reaching 101. shattering that old number of 87 set back in 2001. and to put all this in a perspective, you know when it gets hot inland, it's not always hot at the coastline. in san francisco we did just that for the day. reaching 94 degrees. getting close to that record of 96. but here is the thing. as we look ahead to our forecast, by thursday, temperatures expected to drop down into 60s. so not too much longer expected of this at the coastline. upper 90s and low 100 for the east bay. it is a scorcher as we have been saying. take plenty of breaks out here tonight, even if you're knowing the night is going to be falling, these numbers are going to be dangerously hot. let's take you outside of the live hd sky camera. not working in san jose. we have the haze with us in about 48 hours. we'll gradually get some cloud cover moving in. and in san francisco, we do have plenty of wild action happening this week. look at this cruise ship right now across the bay. that's a gorgeous shot. america's cup, fleet week, and plenty of a's and giants action as we head throughout
